Military Families

Lakeland School System is a proud member of the Military Interstate Children’s Compact. The purpose of the Compact is to remove barriers to educational success imposed on children of military families because of frequent moves and deployment of their parents. Both LSS schools have received the Purple Star Award for their programs and procedures to benefit military families in our system.
