Google Workspace for Education

Lakeland uses Google Workspace for Education for all staff and students. 

Student accounts are secured in a variety of ways. 

• Students can only collaborate on Google Drive files from users within our district.
• Students cannot share Google files with users outside the district.
• Students have a Google account but do not have access to many Google services like Gmail.

Students use their LSS Google account to sign into their Chromebook and to access various digital services provided by the district or school. Parents can get their child's Google username and password from their teacher if desired. 

Like all digital services provided by LSS, a student's Google account falls under the district's Acceptable Use Policy and should only be used for activities related to school.
